British superbike brand Factor Bikes has teamed up with 2013 World Track Champion Alex Morgan as a test pilot for their new range of bikes.
Based in Melbourne, Alex will race domestically on his Factor, and will also undergo specific tasks and putting the Factor range through rigorous and structured testing. This will include activities such as performing a measured Time Trials using various set-ups, then providing comprehensive feedback on feel and performance.
Baden Cooke, Factor Bikes co-owner and former Tour de France Green Jersey Winner, said “Working with Alex means I have a young and very powerful expert on my doorstep, giving me immediate feedback which I can then relay back to the R and D team. This is really helpful as it means we can incorporate real rider testing and be very reactive to potential improvements”.
Alex Morgan said: “I am honoured to have been asked to help Factor Bikes with their testing, I believe they are leaders in their field. Helping them create the lightest most aerodynamic bikes on the market gives me great pleasure and is something I take very seriously”.
Alex currently rides on the Road and the Track for the Victorian Institute of Sport with career highlights including the titles of Elite World Champion in 2013 for the Team Pursuit, Australian Champion in the Elite Men’s Individual Pursuit in 2015 and Oceania Champion in the 2016 U23 Men’s Individual Time Trial.
